I’VE got them coming out of the woodwork with my comments on the EU (Letters, January 23). Good.

Can we now have more people writing with their opinions? I have looked into the EU on the internet and you pays your money and takes your choice of whom to believe.

The EU website makes everything sound wonderful and rosey. Then you get the Euro-sceptics who decry same.

I would love to get an honest assessment of our future in the European community. But all we get is either ‘it’s suicide to come out’ or ‘it’s suicide to stay in’.

Whom do you put your trust in?

When I was young, you trusted and respected politicians. No longer. They have proved time and again to have feet of clay.

Come on now Martha Cross (Letters, January 28) and Peter Jarman (Letters, January 30), win me over to your idea of the wonders and advantages of the EU. Or anyone else who feels strongly either way.

The referendum vote to come has to be right for Britain and I (as you know) am very sceptical of the advantages. One thing I strongly am against is the rest of the EU taking over our law-making.
