AS the festive season arrives, many organisations and faith groups will rally round their community for those living alone and isolated to give support or a visit.
Every Christmas up to the New Year, many people join in as volunteers for all sorts of reasons to serve their community.
Many go unnoticed, but play an important part at this time of the year, for example, keeping a watchful eye on their neighbour to see that they are not left in the cold over this time.
How lucky we are to have services like Warden Call.
It could be one of their busiest times, just waiting for that call for help. This is a very long period where many people are vulnerable, but rest assured there are those that will be keeping their eyes and ears open.
