IF we suppress our compassion for the refugees escaping the hell of Syria and other countries in the region we are succumbing to the divisiveness which extremist groups aim for.
Horrific as the terrorist attacks in Paris and other parts of the world are, I hope that fear and hatred do not triumph.
Resources should go to intelligence services and to helping those who will remember our generosity – we will win hearts and minds, in other words.
