THE most important function of national government is to ensure the safety and security of the citizens of the country.
Back in September the Lebanese education minister Elias Bou Saab warned prime minister David Cameron that he felt around two per cent of refugees from Syria maybe infiltrated with jihadis sent by IS.
He further warned of a covert jihadi operation to get across the Mediterranean and into Europe via Turkey and Greece.
In the light of the shocking events in Paris, I hope David Cameron will act to ensure the safety of citizens in the UK by reintroducing effective national border control.
And if necessary, withdrawing from the Schengen Area agreement of open borders, and of course calling an immediate halt to plans to welcome Syrian ‘refugees’ to this country.
How many more warnings will Cameron need before he acts?
