I UNDERSTAND Coun Paul Blanchard's concerns about foie gras (Bid to ban foie gras continues, The Press, May 9), but the problems about that are as nothing compared with the way chickens are raised in this country. Coun Blanchard seems to have shown no concern for them.
It is a much bigger problem and one that many more of us contribute to, but he does not seem to have noticed it.
