THE shallowness of sincerity existing in the Labour Party was further exposed when Harriet Harman described George Osborne’s Living Wage proposals as a con.
Had the same figures been presented by a socialist Chancellor, then she, her MPs, acolytes in the national press, together with the BBC, would have been cheering from the rooftops.
Hypocrisy springs to mind, but should Labour elect Andy Burnham as leader, expect much more to follow. Leopards do not change their spots.
