OH dear me, how sad. The Queen may have to move out of Buckingham Palace to allow renovations of her 52 bedroom property and leave behind her 426 members of staff (who are probably on zero hours contracts according to recent news reports).

While I may agree or not, that HMQ may bring in money to the country, can anybody please inform me as to why she and her husband need to live in a 52 bedroom, oversized council house?

Surely she should live in a small flat. There are plenty of other stately homes and properties that are available for accommodating state banquets and meeting leaders of other countries.

Let her understand what real life is like and at the same time, if she lives in a flat or house with more than two bedrooms, she should pay the current bedroom tax.
