I CAN never praise enough our York Hospital and once again I speak from personal experience.

On April 23 a cancer was removed from the lower lid of my only seeing eye.

This was not as unpleasant as it might have been, as the friendly theatre staff chatted to me throughout the procedure, and the operation was successful. My next appointment came on May 7 when I was called to the vascular imaging unit for arteriography.

This resulted in an endovascular intervention to relieve pain in my foot, after this I was taken up to ward 11 where I was very well looked after night and day until I was able to go home.

The food choice and quality was perfect, the ward was being cleaned constantly and all staff I met of all grades were extremely friendly and reassuring.
