AS the dust settles on the General Election, early reaction from the losing parties is somewhat predictable, because everything from the polling system, the national media and uncle Tom Cobley is to blame.
Not their policies and personnel; that the electorate used their own individual common sense is never considered as displayed by Lord Kinnock’s belittling comment: “It’s a matter of self-delusion that makes people take a different view.”
Pity the public are not able to sue him for defamation of character.
Now is the time for all those that lost to take an inward view of their policies, not to look silly by continuing to empower opinion that the electorate find not to their liking.
