NOT only is it 70 years since the ending of the Second World War, it is also 40 years since the ending of the Vietnam War.
When that war ended, I thought that people would be so sickened by warfare it would be followed by world peace.
Also remember this was America’s war, but we are now involved in a similar situation in the Middle East.
And as the Vietnam War bought about the tragedy of Cambodia, the Middle East war was bought about the tragedy of Syria.
When will we ever learn.
