I HAVE always been led to believe that any stationary vehicle waiting to cross the flow of traffic turning right should keep the wheels pointing down the road until starting the turn.
Likewise any parked or broken down vehicle should have their wheels in and away from the flow of traffic.
The recently altered entrance into Penleys Grove Street coming from the Monkgate Roundabout end effectively points you at the incoming traffic and any rear end shunt would push you into into approaching traffic with potential fatal consequences for cyclists or motorcyclists.
