LOCAL Ukip mouthpiece Keith Anderson challenges me to name any BBC employees associated with the right, other than those whom I mentioned in my original letter defending the organisation against allegations of left-wing bias.
Perhaps I should have mentioned the self-styled one nation Tory Jeremy Paxman. He was approached by the party to contest the safe seat of Kensington and Chelsea in the forthcoming election. Fair play to Paxman; he declined.
Reporter James Lander, a former Eton chum of David Cameron, never gives the Prime Minister a hard time; enough Keith. There are more!
Mr Anderson asks if the BBC supports any right-wing cause and I have to say no; now they have sacked Jeremy Clarkson not for his stupid bigoted views, but for his violence to a colleague.
