I FIND the letter of Elisa Allen’s letter “People for the ethical treatment of animals” “PETA” (Letters, April 14) highly offensive and stupidly outrageous to scaremonger and state that racecourses are designed to be deliberately dangerous.
She then turns her attention to ladies having a day out for wearing, as she describes them, “silly hats”.
If racecourses are designed to be deliberately dangerous, may I suggest that the address given by Elisa Allen to The Press was specially designed for the likes of Elisa Allen - All Saints Street, London.
