FOOTBALLER Clarke Carlisle is quoted as saying that he feels no shame about attempting to commit suicide by stepping in front of a moving lorry (The Press, March 26).
Does he not have any thoughts for the feelings for the driver of that lorry had he succeeded in killing himself?
It must have been quite traumatic enough for the driver, even though the attempt failed.
Mr Carlisle should to feel some shame and remorse for that alone.
Tony Eaton, Turker Lane, Northallerton.
