Cycle racks near York Station
I SHOULD like to congratulate The Press on the publication of the two latest photos in the occasional series Cycle Racks of the World: York (March 12) v Strasbourg (March 14).
Neither photo has any direct reference to York’s pedestrian area where, as readers will know, cycling is illegal between the hours of 10.30am and 5pm seven days a week.
Nonetheless, the photos well illustrate my contention that cycle racks are unlovely things.
