PLEASE can anyone tell me where is the sense in expanding BioVale Cluster buildings “to research crops” on Grade 2 Agricultural land, Heslington and Sand Hutton, that could grow those crops, when there are large parts still empty on the Terry’s and Nestle sites (The Press, February 20, “Science Minister gives praise to bio-renewable expertise”).

All this knowledge in the city yet they keep making massive planning mistakes that will just keep adding to more traffic, more poor air quality.

This is supposed to be a major bugbear of the council, yet it keeps on allowing further development, adding to that poor air quality.
