THE Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington, is the best evidence available of what its director, Ian Reed, is capable of doing with the former Airspeed Factory in Piccadilly.
His vision, knowledge and expertise would introduce into the very heart of York an attraction of great historical interest of which the city could be proud.
Simply listen seriously to this gentleman, and give him the opportunity to add something to the city centre that is different, exciting, and part of the city’s heritage.
Please, not another hotel or boring block of student flats.
York needs this alternative.
Brian Allinson, Moorfield Way, Wilberfoss, York.
