I WATCH some soaps and Casualty on TV, but more recently I have been disgusted with some of the scenes portraying sexual gratification.
Yes I know the stories are fictional but for youngsters to see doctors and nurses stripping and having sex in the Casualty hospital is most distasteful.
I don’t watch EastEnders as it has always been full of sex, especially the dreadful philanderer Max, a father of two girls.
Recent scenes in my favourite soap, Emmerdale, have filled me with despair. Adam working in the Woolpack kitchen, yes in the kitchen, stripping and having sex there with Victoria; the two-timing married Robert having sex in barns and hotel rooms with Aaron and more fills me with despair.
Another great favourite, Coronation Street, is now filled with illicit sex, lies and deceit, and I must finish with two questions:
1. Why are the soaps on so early when impressionable often the very young watching?
2. What are the producers thinking of to include so much rubbish?
