IT HAS been announced that there is going to be an annual bike ride across Yorkshire, following on from the one last year.
People don't ask for a cup de tea or a slice de cake so why does this bike ride, in a totally English county, have to be called Tour 'de' Yorkshire?
It is so irritating. We are in England so please call this by its proper name. The Tour OF Yorkshire. Speak English.
