AFTER finally seeming to do the right thing and voting to refund all the fines collected from the Lendal Bridge fiasco, the council is now worried about being accused of wasting taxpayers’ money with a likely admin cost of £150,000.
And they now decide to waste even more by arranging for a detailed report to be produced prior to refunding the fines.
It might be nearly Christmas, but I wouldn’t pay them in chocolate coins.
