OH DEAR, once again, Heather Causnett blames mothers for all the ills of poor child rearing (Letters, December 13).
As I understand life, it takes two parents to create a child. Surely then, fathers are just as responsible for caring for their children. Do not neglectful and sometimes absent fathers deserve some of the criticism?
I know many couples where both parents care for their children and the father is very much involved in addition to going out to work daily to support their families. If we are going criticise, perhaps we should be more even-handed.
