WE HAVE somehow lost 50,000 illegal immigrants and also failed to make another 175,000 leave the country; how can this happen?

The pressure grew further on Home Secretary Theresa May this week after, as the mayor of Calais, Natacha Bouchart, told the Home Affairs Select Committee, that the British government had done nothing to tell migrants that there was no “El Dorado” for them in the UK.

Tory minister Nick Boles believes that the UK will never be able be able to control its borders while still a member of the EU.

We are in this state because Tony Blair made this country an open house for immigrants, and then Gordon Brown continued the policy.

So the coalition government was left with the mess to clear up. However, the coalition hasn’t done a good job of it so far.
