MANY thanks to Stuart Wilson (Letters, October 23) and Stephen Lewis (Yesterday Once More, October 20) for highlighting the missing Holy Trinity or “Butchers’ Church” in King’s Square.
In my book, EarthZoo, there is a lot of action going around there as this church keeps appearing and disappearing, to the bemusement of our hero, who must solve this mystery as to why this is happening and ultimately save the earth.
Science fiction you may call it. My book is a parable regarding the human condition and why we do what we do. In our present time, we are all witness to scenes of self-destruction instead of forging human bonds of friendship. Like Holy Trinity, our species may too become extinct.
My opening plot begins at No 84 café Mickegate and you can pick up an EarthZoo copy there, digest it over a coffee and sandwich and then begin your own surreal journey into the hidden world of an alternative York. Good journey.
