WE ARE all frustrated with the way York is being run by the Labour council. On an almost daily basis we hear of another gaffe or debacle; their tenure has been embarrassing and taken our great cathedral city to the brink.
As a resident it pains and frustrates me to see the city I love kicked around like a political football. The only way to change things is to stand up and be counted. As residents we can complain till the cows come home, we can write on Facebook, post on Twitter, but the real solution is tackling the problem head on.
York Conservatives continue to welcome applications from candidates to stand in next May’s local elections, candidates who have a passion for York and credible ideas to take the city forward.
The Labour administration will crumble at next year’s elections, but who will succeed them?
The only party in York with the credibility, support base and vision is the Conservative Party, and the future of our city is in your hands – be part of it.
Applications and inquires should be directed to the association office on 01904 788355 or via email: office@yorkconservatives.co.uk
