Nigel Worthington was let down by the players

What upsets me is that players he thought were good enough to play for our beloved York City have let him down.

If someone works in an office or a supermarket and they didn’t do their job properly, would the manager be blamed or would the worker get sacked?

The same thing happened to Gary Mills. Certain players let him down and he was sacked. It’s about time we went more than two seasons before we got rid of a manager or they resign.

Good luck to Nigel in whatever he does next. He has been a true gentleman.
