The horse which was stabbed and had to be put down after the attack in York
THE story of the horse stabbed six times (The Press, September 23) made me sick.
What kind of creature attacks a defenceless animal?
As for the maximum prison sentence of six months for such a crime, this is not enough. Nor is a fine (which will most likely go unpaid regardless of the court order).
I can’t imagine how much pain and suffering the poor horse must have experienced. How sick the person must be to have done this, my only hope is that the next victim is not a person.
