A link to the past
GENERALLY I find most letters submitted to The Press interesting, but I particularly enjoy D. Deamer’s contributions, some of which are very amusing.
If I am correct, in his day job he was an excellent carpet fitter. His dad, Len, was manager of the almond paste department at Terrys. His dad was a pal of my dad, Harold, both were employees for 50 years. Keep sending your letters in, David.
