IT WAS good to see the photograph of Maureen Patrick and her team and customers celebrating the tenth birthday of Coffee and Co at St Paul’s Church (The Press, September 13).
However, the impression may have been given that this welcoming group is only for members of the congregation.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The whole point of Coffee and Co is that it opens its doors to everybody from the local community who would like to meet up with other people for good coffee, delicious cakes excellent company and good conversation.
All are welcome, so if you are sitting at home on a Thursday morning, wondering what to do, go along to St Paul’s in Holgate Road, between 10am and noon, and spend some quality time with this great group of people.
