I READ with interest the request by Cllr Keith Aspden for York citizens’ thoughts in the lead-up to the General Election (Letters, August 25).
This is something that UKIP York have been doing since the last election.
What is the difference, you may ask?
Well, the difference is that we intend to actually listen and put into practice those thoughts.
We will really listen, and carry out the wishes of the electorate, if elected, even if it is in one ward.
We will fight for every person in this city, against parties that are only interested in carrying out the policies of their party hierarchy.
UKIP is of the people, for the people.
