IT is good to be reminded by Patrick Crowley, chief executive of York Hospital (The Press, August 19) that it is the Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group commissioners who decided which medical services are to be paid for and provided in the Vale of York via the hospital trust.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care I have received at York Hospital. Moreover, I make a point of notice that others are treated equally well — with care, consideration and dignity. My thanks to all staff.
Janet Rowntree, Dower Close, Escrick, York
