I HAVE recently been in ward 32 of York Hospital, where I experienced such good care and attention. What angels they are.

I have also had so many folk in York who are very kind to myself and others who are disabled.

On Wednesday I visited my doctor at Woolpack House, Stonebow. Again kindness and attention. Next call St Crux at the corner of Shambles, where I was soon served home-made cakes.

Everybody was helping me to be okay. But one lady who came to see me said: “Can I help you?”. It was the Scouts stall. She was a lovely lady and took me to the bank, then the chemist in Boots, then put me into a taxi. Without her help I would have been in a very worried state.
