I WAS shopping in York and so pleased to see our regular traders in their rightful place in Parliament Street.
I realise that they are only there because of the refurbishment of Newgate, but surely they should be able to trade there all year round.
I feel that the themed markets would still attract customers if the wooden cabins were situated in Newgate.
Perhaps the people who make the decisions should have a rethink and give the stalwart regular traders a break.
