YORKSHIRE excelled with the Grand Depart and again with the Great Yorkshire Show. Traffic seemed to go smoother than usual in and out of the show.
It was good to see so much farm machinery back and fantastic stock, horses etc on show.
So much to see and do, despite the gate price, it was well populated with members and visitors alike, who all enjoyed good weather.
Well done to Bill Cowling and team plus all the proud volunteer stewards resplendently suited and bowler hatted. Keep up the standards. The First World War area was very poignant, so many people looking for names of relatives.
