WHY are the fines not been repaid for Coppergate if the Lendal Bridge fines are to be repaid?

I’ll wait for my repayment for using Coppergate at 7.55am the first day it came into effect, never mind there was no signs for weeks before like there were for Lendal Bridge.

Completely different scenario according to the reports if you read them.

why is it a different scenario when folk won appeals against the fine for using Coppergate at 10.30am when that time has been restricted for years

I think anyone caught within the times which have 'always' been restricted has no moral cause for complaint/refund.

Anyone caught out by the times being changed should have a case though, especially in the first few weeks. It's OK the Council saying you should read the signs, but who realistically would re-read the same sign every time just to see if it happened to say something different from what it said last time?

The times on the signs are not exactly easy to take in at a glance, and it would be daft to hold up traffic while you stopped to re-read them each time you passed.
