PHANTOM Of The Opera is my favourite musical (I have seen it eight times in various locations), so my friend and I decided to go to see it at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre.

I must admit I was worried that I may be disappointed with it being an amateur production, but in fact it was superb. The cast were brilliant – in fact they were better than some of the professionals that I have seen. The orchestra needs a mention too as they were excellent, not overpowering the singers.

A really good show and many of the actors to look out for in the future.
