EVERY man and his dog have been quick to tell the rest of us why people voted for UKIP.
Even on election night, as the results were only half known, the TV pundits were pontificating on this matter. How did they know?
Had they actually asked UKIP voters, or were they presuming and surmising as they usually do? People vote for different parties for a whole range of different reasons. Some may even vote because they like the colour of a particular rosette. Who knows?
With my presumptive hat on, I think it is fairly safe to say that, because it was an EU election, UKIP voters did so because they want the UK withdrawn from the EU immediately.
