I HAVE just read UKIP’s MEP pamphlet. It’s a pity the Conservative Party does not adopt every one of its recommendations and save us the trouble of voting UKIP.

The Conservatives did used to have many of UKIP's ideas as their policies, but that was in the 1950's, where such outdated and divisive rubbish belongs.

UKIP have tapped into the sentiments of many of the electorate; that immigration is far too high, and that the EU have too much say over our everyday life.

Sadly, the other three mainstream parties, meanwhile, spend too much time and effort trying to discredit and demonise UKIP and their supporters, instead of listening to the electorate.

Let your policies do the talking, because using smear tactics just turns people off.

LibLabConKip. All the same. How can it be claimed that rich ex-banker represents us any more than the other three Privately educated career politicians? Seriously, have a look at their other policies...minimum wage earners paying 31% tax...the same as his banker buddies.
UKIP are the true friends of big business which is why they want to remove a lot of worker's rights.

Yorkshine1, You missed out putting an end to the global warming scam in the UK, where this round in the 1980's all started.
UKIP can keep the lights on and save jobs at our power stations.
There appears to be more hysteria over the huge swing to UKIP than the alarm-ism that we are (Allegedly) going to be fried or drowned or perhaps crushed by the bodies of Polar Bears.
At least UKIP converts don't believe in fairy tales. 'Is there a happy ending?'

I reckon i might vote U.K.I.P. at the next round of elections, was considering voting Tory for the first time ever. I have voted Labour since 1979, didn't bother voting back in 2005, because i couldn't bring myself to vote for the Tories back then, but when you look back at what Hugh Bayley did for York during the 13 wasted Labour years (which was nothing by the way) and the state of York now under the current labour group , my vote is up for grabs!

Many ex-Labour voters in York have the same opinion as you Roy. That's thanks to James Alexander and the current Labour administration. Looking forward to May 2015 to see the back of them :)
