I WONDER if anyone can explain why it has been necessary for City of York Council to go to the expense of issuing each household with a sticker for their green bin, collection of which every household is eligible for?
Those having more than one bin they wish to use have already got a sticker(s) for their extra bin(s) if they have paid the £35 charge on each.
I am sure the refuse collectors can identify one green bin per household plus, where applicable, any bins with the correct sticker(s) on, or do the council judge their common sense by their own?
D. Jones, Hopgrove Lane North, York.
