ON APRIL 11, I had the opportunity to ask Hugh Bayley MP a question on BBC Radio York.
I asked why Labour changed the retirement age for company pension members, from 50 to 55 and added that this has also taken job opportunities away from youngsters.
Hugh denied Labour did this and replied it was my pension provider who had taken this route.
Yet it was the then Labour Government that in 2010 brought in and changed this law – not the pension providers.
Perhaps Hugh should Google to check his facts.
