I WAS interested in the contrast of two letters published in The Press on Tuesday, April 6.

One from Allan Denney, quite rightly complaining about thoughtless motorists driving in the foot streets and then one from Judy Diatta directing motorists in to the city centre when it was not necessary.

To get from Lower Friargate to St Annes Road all you have to do is drive down Tower Street to join the inner ring road and then follow the inner ring road (outside the city walls) all the way to Bootham. How hard can it be?
