FANCY a day at the races? Enjoy having lots of fun and great times with your friends and family? Then we could have a great big opportunity just for you.

We need enthusiastic, fun and chatty people to join us as volunteer MacDay Makers at Macmillan Cancer Support’s single largest fundraising event – Macmillan Charity Raceday.

Taking place at York Racecourse on Saturday June 14, it promises to be a great day out and you’ll be helping to raise thousands of pounds to support people affected by cancer.

Macmillan Charity Raceday is an amazing fundraising collaboration between York Racecourse and Macmillan Cancer Support. Over 44 years, the event has raised more than £5.8million for Macmillan.

In 2013, we raised a record-breaking £380,000, making it the most successful charity race day in the country. We expect 26,000 to 30,000 racegoers to attend this year’s event and enjoy the activities as well as an afternoon of top-quality racing.
