THERE is no doubt that those elected to the council want to make York a better place. Even the Lendal Bridge experiment was started with the best of intentions.
It is sad that whichever party is in power, the other sees it as a duty to utterly block and oppose anything the council decides.
And all too many of your correspondents, armed with hindsight, are free with vicious criticisms.
Can’t we work together for the good of the city?
