A dog walker was punched to the ground and repeatedly kicked in the face by a gang of hooded teenagers.

The 52-year-old victim was attacked by the three male teenagers as he passed Roosevelt Court in Stonehouse Drive in St Leonards at about 3.45pm on Sunday February 16.

The teenagers knocked him to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked him in the face and body and the victim suffered cuts and bruises.

The trio behind what police are calling a “nasty and vicious unprovoked assault” were all between 16 to 19, white and wearing hooded tops.
