AS A local resident, I wish to express my concerns regarding West Bank Park.
For the past few months, the park has been open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This has been a concern not only in terms of security, with people in the park at all times day and night, but also for safety reasons and vandalism.
During high winds this week, the park was left open and a large tree fell over close to the main pathway which runs through the park.
This could have had serious consequences to members of the public, for obvious reasons.
I think the security of the park needs reviewing for the safety of local residents and other members of the public and wanted to highlight that around the city parks are being disregarded and overlooked.
