AS a taxpayer it is good news to see that Lloyds Bank is now in profit again, but disappointing to see that staff bonuses are being increased.
These should not be seen as being more necessary as the first and major priority, (no doubt after looking after the share-holders), as returning to the taxpayer (with interest) the monies that were given to bail them out during the financial crisis.
Once again the taxpayer loses out.
