PM David Cameron says “money is not a problem” when asked about repairing the massive flood damage in England and Wales.
It most certainly was a problem when dredging and other vital clear waterway projects were cut and stopped many years ago.
It was a problem when the main damage was in South Wales, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Gloucestershire.
It was a problem when aid money was going to Africa, Asia, Pakistan, India, Brazil and other parts of the Commonwealth, instead of being spent helping English folk.
Now that the worst damage is in places like Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, along the Thames and into London and the heart of Tory country, money is suddenly No Problem.
