I AM so very glad that common sense prevailed in the case of William Roache’s trial for historic sex offences.
How did the women concerned, who are old enough to know better, dream up these claims with no basis of reality? First it was Michael Le Vell and now Bill Roache.
Who else can expect a knock on the door and a warrant for their arrest for yet another wild accusation?
I cannot understand how any solicitors worth their salt can agree to represent women who make false claims after all this time.
It is a pity these females and their misguided legal representatives have nothing better to do with their time.
I think the worst aspect of this nasty case is that the women will get away instead of making reparation for the trouble they have caused to an extremely nice man.
As a legal secretary for around 30 years, I have the utmost respect for the law and hope that these females gain nothing but contempt for their pains and hopefully a huge legal bill.
