THIS is just a curious observation. Certain television programmes, usually repeats of those shown earlier in the evening, are then shown throughout the night; but why do they have the person in the bottom right of the screen doing sign language for the hard of hearing?
I would have thought most people watch TV at the more regular times and the help for the hard of hearing would be more appreciated then.
Not only that, but they only pop up periodically anyway, so only part of the programme is signed.
