Prints just spot on
REGARDING Maxine Gordon’s article “Not wild about animalistic attire”, (The Press, September 27). I felt compelled to write in.
Leopard print and the wearing of it is the height of fashion now and always has been. Just look at the latest issue of Vogue and Vanity Fair magazines. The pages of these publications are adorned with the latest season’s animal prints.
We recently went to see fashion icon Joan Collins in her one woman show and guess what, she was wearing a leopard print dress. Elizabeth Taylor was wearing leopard print when she died and Rod Steward still wears it.
It is the height of sophistication and glamour. I am out and proud as an animal print fan, I am known for it the world over. Wear your leopard print with pride everybody.
It is the preferred fashion in all the blues clubs in Chicago and St Louis where all the lovely ladies sport leopard print outfits with pride.
Chessington World of Adventures’ ban on people wearing animal prints will not bother me as I do not frequent barbaric outdated institutions such as animal parks and zoos, but do not make out that wearing leopard print is not fashionable please!
