Lend us a Tanner...
WITH regards to Andy D’Agorne’s letter on September 28, it seems that the only people listened to by our council are cyclists.
As a car driver who pays a lot of money to use roads, I find that there are less and less roads to use because cyclists want them for themselves.
So let’s ban all cars from entering the city, then Mr D’Agorne and pedestrians can walk all over the roads in safety, leaving me and other motorists to pay for them.

• ANDY D’AGORNE (what happened to the councillor bit?) suggests that yet another road, Tanner Row, is closed to motorists. Enough is enough, I say.
For years he and other councillors have urged all and sundry to get on their bikes.
Now for once I urge him and them to do the sensible and safe thing and advocate cyclists to dismount and push their bikes for 30 seconds at the most.
